At heart, i’m a passionate and enthusiastic photographer and coffee lover. I’m currently working as a project leader of river restoration four days a week and freelancing my visual skills in my spare time. Exploring places and capturing unique moments is just my thing. But due to my curious and open-minded personality, I’m driven by the challenge of visualising all kinds of projects - portraits, weddings, events, short films, music videos or any other challenge which I may come across. For me creating is all about personal growth and contribution. And that’s what i’m living for.

Nidwalden
the FJORDS of SWITZERLAND
I was born and raised in a small village in canton Nidwalden, which is located in Central Switzerland - right where the swiss alps are about to unfold it’s endless beauty. My little paradise is in the countryside and is surrounded by mountains and the lake of Vierwaldstättersee. I used to call my hometown “the Fjords of Switzerland”. In retrospect, I think it’s kind of evident that the outdoors and nature became my natural habitat, and I decided to study environmental sciences.

UNLEASHED MY CREATIVE SIDE
In 2004 I started to write songs and lyrics and unleashed my creative side. After five years, I taught myself to produce my own music with a computer and sounds from old vinyl (also called sampling). Music became a principal counterbalance to my brain-heavy studies. But my inquisitive and curious mind was never satisfied enough, so I borrowed the camera of my sister and started creating music videos for myself and my friends in 2014. I instantly realized that visualizing is a considerable part of my personality. No matter what I’m doing, I always try to imagine the outcome first.
MY JOURNEY
OF PHOTOGRAPHY
In February 2016 - after finishing my master's degree in environmental sciences - I went on a solo backpacking trip through Thailand for five weeks. I asked my sister to take her camera with me - point of no return. At this very moment, the journey of photography started. While documenting my travel experiences, capturing moments and turn them into memories instantly became an addictive passion. As soon as I came home, I bought my first own camera and started using photography and videography as my most powerful and natural way of creative expression.

to run away from routine
Landscape photography is where I grow as a person the most. It forces me to leave my comfort zone in a joyful and relaxing way. For me, it’s all about the thrive to create something new by seeking the unknown and observing the beauty of nature as it’s always meant to be. And suddenly out of nowhere a fulfilling moment of grace and experience of life turns into an unforgettable memory and feeling of endless happiness and gratitude. Exploring remote places of calm and chasing unique moments of light and colors makes me feel most alive and connected to the earth. And that’s what I’m living for.

NEW POSSIBILITES & CHALLENGES
Stagnancy is not what my mindset and life is made for. That’s why I'm always looking outside my comfort zone for new challenges to diversify my visuals skillset. After a while of shooting music videos and landscapes, I naturally came into portraits & concerts. One day one of my best friends asked me to shoot his wedding as a backup photographer. After the great honor and a lot of flattering feedback I got asked for more projects regularly. And since late 2018, I have been fortunate enough to start freelancing my visual skills and realize projects for a variety of clients.
